I guess it can depend on who you adopt. Did the birth mother KNOW the adoptive parents had guns in their house?
Was it an open adoption? I'd love to know the details.
Oh, he was always such a good boy. Yeah, when he was in front of you. Hey, A parents, you did your job, the kid's 18, you're off the hook. Lucky you. Lucky he didn't do it when he was 14.
And who raised those boys who were going to kill the parents? What is with people?!!

With so little information it's tough to point fingers in any direction. And birth mothers don't always get to cherry-pick who the kid goes to. If anything it sounds like the friend was the one who put the bee in the kid's bonnet to off Mom and Dad for the bucks. Oh, how I love snowflakes ...
